Waitangi Day
February 6th 2012

What we thought and hoped for was that a good long weekend turned out to be two soggy days followed by clearing weather on the third.  If anyone wanted to know what a good day looks like, then just remember yesterday which was a brilliant one & today should be as good.

However, back to the circuits it was for Brendan Pittwood and Julie Woods on Monday with four trial flights as well.  Robin MacDonald and Spence Radcliffe being two that enjoyed good flights, having waited patiently for a good flying day to come along.  They were lucky too, for the tow plane fuel mixture control cable decided to go a bit awry at the end of the day.  Seems that matters are in hand and we may avoid having to import a new cable.

The weather looks good for this weekend and Glyn Jackson is looking at tomorrow, Thursday, for a mid-week flying day.
